Baby Dolls
Baby dolls represent human infants. They often come with
accessories such as child's clothing. Very commonly they come with bottles
and diapers.
Though the first known commercially produced dolls were made in the
early 1400s, baby dolls did not begin to be manufactured until three
centuries later. Many people today find this surprising. Dolls in recent
times are most commonly made for children and represent babies.
As time progresses, baby dolls are available in more and more realistic
styles. The development of more realistic skin textures is an excellent
example of this. Many children also enjoy the talking and drinking capabilities
which toy babies may have.
