Mattel Dolls

Mattel dolls are created by the world's largest toy importing company. This designation for Mattel is based upon its revenue. Along with dolls, the company also produces board games and toy cars.

Perhaps the most famous Mattel dolls are those coming from the Barbie line. This fashion doll was first launched in March of 1959. Today, Barbie is responsible for over 80% of the company's profits.

Other popular Mattel dolls are those coming from the American Girl line. This line focuses on pre-teen characters who come from various periods throughout American history. First available through mail order in 1986, today over 14 million of these dolls have been sold.
