Toy Dolls

Toy dolls have existed for many centuries. In fact, they have been found to predate history. Many different cultures valued these creations for various reasons.

In some, toy dolls didn't exist as toys at all. Rather, they were related to rituals and ceremonies. At other times, dolls were use to share different fashions that existed between cultures. Today these items are most commonly used to entertain children.

Toy dolls have been created from many different materials over time. Early creations made use of wood, clay, and even bone. Paper and cloth dolls were the next development. Porcelain and china creations are delicate and traditional in many areas. More modern dolls have been created from rubber and plastic.
